PROJECT DESCRIPTION

As a Color & Material Design Intern at Vans, I contributed to the Vans x The Shining Collection, part of Vans' Warner Bros. Horror collaboration for Halloween. I played a role in concept development and pattern creation, helping bring the film’s scary aesthetics to life on Vans' classic silhouettes. Drawing inspiration from The Shining’s most haunting visuals—such as the infamous Overlook Hotel carpet pattern and typewriter motif—I worked on translating these iconic elements into compelling footwear designs. This project merged cinematic storytelling with sneaker culture, delivering a collection that resonated with horror fans and sneakerheads alike.
